About the Department
A Bachelor of Commerce or B.Com is an undergraduate degree in commerce and related subjects. The degree is designed to
provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area. Here,
Students are exposed to general business principles, and required accounting, economic and quantitative skills. The Bachelor of
Commerce has the objective of preparing graduates who embody the SUSGOI, Tangori graduate attributes. It seeks to provide
students with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to understand and participate in the modern business world, to prepare
them for subsequent graduate studies and to allow them to achieve the highest level of success in their professional careers. The
goals are:-

- To give an understanding of management functions within the business environment
- Graduates of this degree will be capable of using basic research methodologies and information sources
